My friend, the Baker, submitted this SF suggestion.

Snuggie Day at the Giants
Look at these crazies waiting in line for a Giants Snuggie! This picture was taken at 4:30p, for a 7:00p game time.
Ok, ok, I’m totally jealous!

Morning Hike
One of the best things about growing up in this area is the proximity to beautiful nature reserves and national park land. My parents’ house is very close to some of the Marin Headlands trails. Every morning my parents get up before 7am, throw on their hiking gear, including walking sticks, and head up for a morning hike. I stayed over at their place this week and participated in the morning...

The Ferry Building is Awesome
Picture perfect SF day, hipster biker, Ferry Building, fun fun.
Inside the beautiful building, looking at all the shops.
I love Hog Island Oysters. Get a dozen, and split a Cowgirl Creamery grilled cheese sandwich. Wash it all down with a good beer.
Apothecary style candy shop.
I hate Seagulls, but this guy was asking for his picture to be taken.

Chewy (aka Chewbacca)
I mean, come on now! I’m not even a big dog person, but this guy is the cutest thing ever. He lives at the dry cleaner next to YogaTree-Stanyan. His name is Chewy. He’s freakin’ awesome.

Brunch in SF
One of my favorite things to blog about is how San Franciscans love B.R.U.N.C.H. Brunch is more than a meal at an unusual meal hour, it’s a celebration of weekend, friends, sunshine, food, and drinking alcohol in the morning.
ksang-deactivated20110707 asked: if i only have half a day in san francisco, what/where would you recommend i do/go?

The Grove - The Non Home, Non Work Office
The Grove, on Filmore Street, is one of my go-to spots when I need to get out of my house during the day. The Grove is a great office for those many students, unemployed, or individuals who find themselves with free time during the day. With a rustic feel, the Grove has raw wood beams, a stone fireplace, wood tables, stain-glass windows, and leather couches. The food is great, the music is on, and...

Pretty view of SF
This shot, I believe, was taken from the top of the Fairmont Hotel. It highlights the “flats” of San Francisco facing Cow Hollow and the Marina neighborhoods. And back in the yonder is a little bridge called the Golden Gate. Marin County, on the other end of the bridge, is green and beautiful.
Enjoy.

Baby Brussels
Now, I do have hands the size of a five year old, but these guys are very small. Six baby brussel sprouts resting comfortably in the palm of my hand. These bad boys were one of the foods I didn’t like growing up. Now I love them, especially with a little butter, lemon, and capers. I just had to share.
(There seems to be a discrepancy on how to spell brussel sprouts. Brussels sprouts?)

Picnic Wednesday
Normally, I don’t drink beer in the middle of the day on a Wednesday, nor do I indulge on a turkey sandwich from Arguello Market, but today was a special day because my two best buddies from B-school called me up and wanted to make the most of this gloriously sunny SF day.
The three of us hit up Arguello Market and headed straight over to Golden Gate Park by the Conservatory of Flowers -...

Girl…I totally feel you!!!
Do you now how awkward it is to tell someone that you have a PASSION for Social Media only to have them look at you like they you are crazy, not understand, and not get your gusto?
Yeah, its my life.
It’s my job.
It is 99.9% of the reason I won’t be “dating” soon…I hate having to explain this…

Rejection in SF
Although, I am trying to keep this blog positive, and I have also become accustomed to the receiving the following email, I thought I would share with you the kinds of emails us MBA grads are getting on a daily basis.
Hi A…,
Thank you for coming in and taking the time to meet with us. Based on our needs, we’ve decided to go with another candidate. We appreciate your interest in XXXX...

If I Had a Blue Scooter
If I had a blue scooter I would want it to look like these. I would want all of my friends to have their favorite scooters, and we could ride around San Francisco in a scooter rainbow. If I had a blue scooter, I would hop on it and ride to Tartine in the Mission, for breakfast, and then shoot over to the Sunset for some Pho at Yummy Yummy, and then back to Soma for happy hour at the latest...
